Join Bus Projects as a Board Member
Dates: Due: Sunday 30 NovemberAre you one of our next Board members? We are looking for our next Chair (or two Co-Chairs) and a Secretary to join Bus Projects voluntary board.
Entering our 25th year of operation in 2026, Bus Projects is one of the longest-running artist-run initiatives (ARIs) in Naarm/Melbourne and has made a significant contribution to the vibrancy and diversity of the city’s arts culture.
The board supports Bus Projects in fulfilling its aims and functions through a governance framework. Board members meet 5-6 times a year, attend Bus Projects events and represent the organisation in their respective communities.
Key Skills
Demonstrated leadership and strategic development expertise, previous experience as a board member or director, strong financial, risk management and corporate governance expertise, effective community and stakeholder engagement experience & strong communication and negotiation skills.
Specialist Expertise
Creative practitioners in the visual arts, education / academia in the creative industries, strategy development, financial management, audit / risk management, governance, legal, marketing and/or communications, sponsorship / fundraising & Human resources management / industrial relations.
