un Projects launch ‘un Magazine 11.2: Laugh now, cry later’ on Tuesday 24th October, 6pm, at Bus Projects. Featuring a performance from The Band Presents, along with drinks and much merriment!

Edited by David Capra with Sub-Editor Amelia Winata, un Magazine 11.2 explores the intersection of humour and art, and the notion of frivolity in artistic practice. Is it okay for the joke to be the end product, or does it need to weigh in with a moral to be worthy of our attention? Is being funny a distraction, or can it be the point?

Featuring: Spencer Lai, Kate Mitchell, Kieren Seymour, Chiara Scafidi, Zara Sigglekow, Fresh and Fruity, Sean Rafferty, Malcolm Whittaker & Lucy Parakhina, Alistair Baldwin, Joel Stern, Carrie Miller & Andrew Frost, Sarah Werkmeister, Giselle Stanborough & Athena X, Simon Zoric, Daniel McKewen, Sarah Rodigari & Ella Sutherland, Tim Woodward, Aurora Scott, Kalinda Vary, Archie Moore, The Karrabing Film Collective, Tina Havelock Stevens, Vanessa Berry, David Attwood and Susan Te Kahurangi King.
